PPE: Safety Plan
We believe that safety on site is one of the keys to a successful project and we will take all measures in assuring safety on site. All the people on Site will get sufficient information on Safety at the work-place. We will have a translator in the case where some of our workers do not understand English or Afrikaans. There will be a health and safety officer on Site at ALL times which will supervise and make sure that all the workers proceed according to the safety regulations. There will also be informative discussions with all operators of Plant to ensure that they are aware of all the hazards involved in the operation of the specific machine. PPE’s will be supplied to all our workers on site. In the case where the safety regulations are not complied to, there will be acted on immediately.
Our approach is to prepare the community members thoroughly in order to allow them to work independently later. We assist both with short-term interventions, but prefer an ongoing relationship with stakeholder where we can work systematically, seeking always to work with clients in a manner that addresses their needs while we simultaneously build their capacity.
